Mark Your Calendar For Any Of The Dates
Below:
Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 1:30 PM - 3 PM (EST)
Job Postings have long been an obvious means of broadly disseminating information about a particular opportunity. But increasingly recruiters are reporting that applicant response to Job Postings is far less than optimal. Many ads either receive no response, or elicit responses from individuals who simply aren't qualified for the role at hand. Here's a number that you may find to be of interest: 3,765,000 This is the number of online job postings for May 2008, as determined by The Conference Board's "Help Wanted Index," which translates to 2.65 postings for every 100 individuals in the workforce. Needless to say, there is an abundance of advertising stimuli placed in front of prospective candidates who may be contemplating making a job change. Not all Job Postings are created equally. In fact, many are woefully lacking and do little to capture the attention of qualified jobseekers, let alone project anything particularly interesting about an opportunity or an organization. Web postings and print-based want ads have always struggled to compete for the attention of job seekers, but in a tight employment marketplace, a well-written and engaging job posting will absolutely engender a greater degree of qualified applicant response. In this presentation, Advanced Recruiting Trends CEO, Paul Siker, will address the composition and construction of engaging job postings that can yield a heightened level of response from both active and passive job seekers. Specifically, you will learn:
